The sun our skin receives depends on six main factors. They determine sun exposure and protection type required.

Your starting point for adventure is the Fairmont Mara Safari Club in Kenya. Bordered on three sides by the Mara River, the camp offers life under a tent... with five-star luxury. At your feet, the hippos. On the program: a 4 x 4 safari, a safari on foot with an armed Masai warrior, a balloon safari to see nature awaken, or a fishing safari to try to catch a 100 kilogram Nile perch...

St.Lucia - Simply fresh, floral and fantastic!
St. Lucia is the sort of island that travellers to the Caribbean dream about - a small, lush tropical gem that is still relatively unknown. There is so much to see and do. This tropical island beckons the visitor to explore historical, cultural and heritage sites. If you are more adventurous, climb a Piton or a waterfall, take a trail in the rainforest or swim with the turtles.

Our feet and the sun
The tops of our feet are very sensitive - if you're out in the sun for a long time, stick your feet into the cool sand to protect them as soon as you feel them starting to redden. This is all the more important in Peru and Uruguay where the sun hits the earth at a powerful direct angle.
If, despite your precautions, you end up with sunburn, use the miracle cure of island dwellers: a slice of tomato held in place for 5 minutes. Fantastic!
