Piña Colada Recipe
Chef's Note

It was on August 15, 1954, that Ramñn "Monchito" Marrero Pñrez first introduced the Piña Colada to the customers of the Beachcomber Bar at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is said that he spent three months working on it until he finally felt he had captured "the sunny, tropical flavor of Puerto Rico in a glass."

Ingredients
Per glass

- 2/10 Coconut cream
- 3/10 white rum
- 5/10 pineapple juice
Method
  1. Combine all ingredients in an electric mixer.
  2. Mix until smooth and fluffy (maximum 10 seconds).
  3. Pour into a tulip glass. Garnish with pineapple piece and maraschino cherry.
