Mussels au Gratin Recipe

Ingredients

Method
  1. open up the raw mussels; place in a baking dish;
  2. prepare the sauce: sauté 125 g (4 oz.) mushrooms, a small onion and 2 minced shallots in 1 tbsp. oil;
  3. add the liquid from the mussels, 100 ml (6 tbsp.) white wine, 50 g (3 tbsp.) butter, parsley and pepper; add a little cream (optional);
  4. pour over the mussels; place into a hot oven for a few minutes and serve immediately.
