Menetou Red Wine Sorbet Recipe

Chef's Note
You can flavor this sorbet with cinnamon, star anise, cloves, ginger or pepper.
      
As a garnish, you can place 2 or 3 little mint leaves on each small scoop of sorbet to give the impression of strawberries.
Ingredients
Ingredients for 5 servings
- 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) red Menetou Salon wine
- 250 ml (1 cup) water
- 250 g (1 cup) sugar
- 1 lemon
- Vanilla extract
Method
  1. Boil the water and sugar together for 3 minutes. Quickly chill the syrup.
  2. Add the wine, lemon juice and vanilla. Place in an ice cream maker to freeze. Place in the freezer.
