Wines from the South-West - Brulhois
V.D.Q.S. since 1984, this small zone next to Buzet produces essentially robust red wines, requiring several years of aging before reaching optimum
enjoyment. These wines are made from tannat, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cot (malbec) and fer servadou. The region also produces a lovely rosé, of which the annual production is about 10 500 hectolitres (hl). The wine region of Côtes du Brulhois is spread over 3 ‘départements’, mainly in the Garonne Valley, south and east of Agen.
