"Inspired by my visits to France, I had long dreamed of cooking in a castle. I was thrilled when Thomas Althoff gave me the opportunity to create the Dieter Müller restaurant in the Schlosshotel Lerbach. We opened on February 28, 1992, since which time my wife Birgit has been the gracious hostess, while I work as the culinary artist behind the scenes."
