Born in 1960, Philippe Chevrier has, from his earliest childhood, been steeped in an environment of generosity and conviviality, qualities that perfectly sum up the chef's art, and which have set him apart from the crowd. This spirit of conviviality was undoubtedly the compelling influence that led him to cooking - and not just to any cooking, but to gastronomic heights.

Ah yes, I'm a dreamer who will do whatever it takes to achieve my dreams.
You and family
I like the family spirit that brings people together. It's one of the most important things for me. It's certainly this spirit that led me to choose cooking as a career, so I could bring people together around me.
You and work
Work is essential to me, particularly in the kitchen where creativity plays a large part. I spend between 14 and 16 hours a day at work, but when you love something you don't count the hours.
You and animals
I love them. We have a lot to learn from them. Living without animals would be unthinkable to me.
You and other people
I like people. That's the basis of the welcome and warmth that people get from a public place.
You and travel
I love travelling. The different culture, food, art and architecture are enriching.
You and pleasures
Pleasure is a part of my profession since it involves all five senses, but carnal pleasure is still my favorite.
You and humor
You have to have a sense of humor when you have my physique. I can laugh about myself and about others. It is also conducive to a good professional work environment that is relaxed at the same time.
