Later on, Anne and Pierre decided to cross the little bridge which stood over the duck pond and build an inn as a way of allowing their guests to stay for days at a time, close to the kitchens where Anne is busy from morning to evening. When time permits, she takes off in search of new and interesting products from the region. Whatever the discovery, whether an eggplant or a mushroom, it will unleash a symphony of creative inspiration in Anne's mind, with results that will delight all the senses.
While you are thinking of your next escape to the Laurentians, Anne Desjardins is already dreaming up poetic new combinations featuring Abitibi caviar, Charlevoix veal, venison from the red deer of the Laurentians, or perhaps apple must from Saint-Joseph-du-Lac… meanwhile Pierre will be travelling the length and breadth of the vineyards in search of the best vintages. It all reflects Anne Desjardins' and Pierre Audette's philosophy that drinking well and eating well are among life's greatest pleasures.
