All about CHESHIRE

Origin: England

This is oldest and most famous English cheese, with roots dating back several thousand years to pre-Roman times. It was first made by the Celts in the salty soil of Cheshire, giving it a distinctive taste that was revered by Dr. Samuel Johnson and is loved by countless others for its delicate but sharp flavour and crumbly texture.

Cheshire is not a long-aged cheese and should be eaten young - within 3 months of manufacture if possible.

Cheshire Blue
One of the rarest blues - tangy and slighty salty.
